About
Gin made in small batches in Mexico, based on neutral cane distillate and classic and local botanicals. The main ingredient is an extract from fig opuntia flowers and fruits. Other plants include juniper, hibiscus flowers, lavender and marigolds. This is a truly dry gin with no added sugar.
The Vision
The logo shows an image of a cactus in a sombrero with two blooming flowers growing out of it. The name was created from the combination of the words DON (Spanish for a courtesy title combined with a name) and FLORIO (a male name that was created from the combination of flor, Spanish for flower and adding the ending io to form masculine). The colors are mainly based on three shades of green, which are associated with nature, and more precisely with the colors of cactus and other plants found in this region. These colors are to emphasize the organic nature of the product and build trust among consumers. The red color accent is supposed to fuel energy, excitement and appetite for a new taste of gin. The use of gold adds an extra touch of elegance to the brand.
